Application:
The filter press forms a closed material storage chamber under the joint action of the filter plate and membrane plate. In the working process, under the interval of filter cloth, the filter plate and membrane plate are not in contact with the material. After the high-pressure fluid medium is injected into the membrane plate through the rubber diaphragm embedded in the membrane plate, the rubber diaphragm bulges and cooperates with the filter plate to squeeze and filter the material to achieve the effect of solid-liquid separation.
Application of Embedded Rubber Diaphragm in Filter Plates of High-Pressure Diaphragm Filter Presses:
The main difference between a diaphragm filter press and an ordinary chamber filter press is that two pieces of highly elastic rubber diaphragms are installed on both sides of the filter plate. During operation, when the feeding is completed, high-pressure fluid can be injected into the diaphragm plate. The diaphragm then bulges and presses the filter cake, achieving further dewatering of the cake—that is, pressing and filtering—to enhance solid–liquid separation.
The rubber diaphragm is usually embedded in the groove of the core plate, making it easy to disassemble and replace. Because the rubber diaphragm has high resilience and tear resistance, it is not easily damaged.
Filter plates can be divided into polypropylene filter plates and diaphragm filter plates. They are widely used in chemical, mining, petroleum, pharmaceutical, food, resource development, metallurgy, coal, national defense, and environmental protection industries.
